You can use your Peacock account on as many devices as you want, but there are some limits to how many people can stream at the same time. Here’s what you need to know to watch your favorite shows and movies on different devices.
Simultaneous Streaming Limits
Your Peacock account lets you stream on up to three devices at the same time visit website peacocktv.com/tv. This limit is the same whether you have a Free, Premium, or Premium Plus plan. If three people are already watching on your account, a fourth person will get an error message and won’t be able to start a new stream until one of the others stops.
If you hit the streaming limit, you just need to stop watching on one of the other devices. It might take up to ten minutes for the system to register that a spot has freed up. Sometimes, if your computer or browser crashes while you’re watching, the system might think you’re still streaming. In that case, wait about ten minutes before trying to watch again.
Setting Up Peacock on a New Device
Getting started on a new device is simple. Follow these steps :
- Download the Peacock app website peacocktv.com/tv/vizio from your device’s app store, like the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and select the option to sign in.
- Enter the email address and password for your existing Peacock account.
Once you log in, you can start streaming immediately. Your viewing history and progress will sync across all your devices, so you can easily pick up where you left off.
Managing Profiles
To keep everyone’s watch history separate, you can create up to six profiles on a single Peacock account. You can have a mix of adult and kids’ profiles, but the main account holder must have an adult profile.
To create a new profile :
- Open the Peacock app website peacock.com/tv.
- Select your main account holder profile.
- Click the “+” sign next to “New Profile.”
- Choose an avatar, enter a name, and decide if it should be a Kids profile.
You can edit a profile at any time by selecting it and tapping the pencil icon.
